  • Share good practise in teaching students with autism and working with their families
  • Explore opportunities for further collaboration with independent schools

Main discussion points included:

  • Our community and who are LVS Oxford
  • Schools admission process
  • Aims and ethos
  • Our curriculum
  • Therapy at the school and on site nurses
  • Good practice

Sophie; teacher from Rye St Anthony said:

“The day was incredibly interesting and insightful. It was really kind of the school to share with us their own processes and way of doing things. It is important to work collaboratively together to support autistic individuals in the best way we can. Thank you for organising such a great day.”

We hope those that attended found it to be an invaluable experience that provided many useful insights.
