Healthy eating plays an important part of daily life at LVS Oxford. Our enthusiastic catering staff have established a great rapport with our pupils and work hard to get them to expand the range of foods they eat. Our pupils also enjoy the experience of preparing and cooking food in our dedicated food technology classroom.
There is always a strong emphasis on fresh produce and a balanced diet. We aim to help pupils recognise that healthy eating is critical for their all-round well-being.
We recognise that some young people require modified diets or additional dietary supplements, so work closely with parents and pupils to ensure we meet their needs.

Our school nurse plays an active role in health promotion by taking lessons, leading assemblies or simply being available to our pupils. She works with the healthy eating committee to ensure that the food available to our pupils is healthy, nutritious and takes account of any dietary needs and eating issues.
