LVS Oxford is seeking an experienced English Tutor for 5 hours per week, who will be responsible delivering English GCSE to some of our learners. The role includes responsibility for the assessment of students’ progress, group and individual programme planning, curriculum delivery, recording, evaluation and reporting as well as contributing generally to meeting the aims and ethos of the Centre as a whole. The role demands the application of specialised teaching approaches for students with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum, systematic planning and record keeping and the management and deployment of Learning Support Assistants.
The successful applicant will have responsibility for the development and monitoring of English curriculum delivery across the Centre.
