The spacious and comfortable rooms offered at LVS Oxford help our students to feel, safe and secure in their surroundings, so they are encouraged to personalise their rooms and make the space their own. In the calm and safe environment leaners continue learning life skills outside the classroom. Older students are given a real focus on developing their independent living skills, they take responsibility for many of their day to day activities from cleaning their bathrooms and doing their own washing, to planning and preparing the group evening meal.
As part of the Supported Independence Programme, residential students are encouraged to live as independently as possible, with help and guidance from residential staff whenever they need it.
Staff work closely with learners to develop the skills necessary to manage and maintain their individual personal care needs, ensuring they understand its importance to their well-being.

"We welcome residential learners and providing a supportive home away from home within a comfortable safe and happy environment is of the utmost importance to us."
